Echinacea to support our immune system

We are slowly approaching the time when temperatures will drop. Historically, Echinacea was the main plant of the Cheyenne, the North American Indians who used every part of this plant with great care. From the Asteraceae family, American Indians used several kinds of Echinacea (E. Purpurea, E. Angustifolia and E. Pallida) but the one used in herbal medicine today is Echinacea Purpurea. Uses

  • Dry Root Decoction: Put 1 or 2 grams of dry root (E. Pallida or E. Angustifolia) in a cup of water, then slowly bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day.
  • In dry root capsule (E. Pallida or E. Angustifolia): follow the manufacturer's dosage.

In addition to its many diverse properties, echinacea has a particular tropism with the ENT system. Indeed, it will accompany bronchitis, lung infections, rhinopharyngitis, colds, flu, sinusitis, laryngitis, colds, sore throats, angina, etc... Very powerful, it can also anchor an antibiotic action in the body when necessary. By associating it with Royal Jelly and Propolis, you will obtain the perfect cocktail to fight the microbes in winter period.

If, when using it, your mouth mucous membranes tingle and a slight numbness is felt in the mouth, do not worry. This is a sign that it is really echinacea and that it has a positive effect on your body. While this may look like signs of allergies, it is definitely not.

Let us not forget that each plant has some counter indications. In the case of this one, we recommend that you do not use it continuously for more than 3 weeks. Finally, if you suffer from autoimmune or degenerative diseases, it is also not recommended.
