Bananas are also renowned for their ability to give a creamy texture to the juice, even if your blender has a medium power setting. If you're using a blender, count on one banana per handful of broccoli (stalk and stem). To thicken, add water until you reach the desired consistency. Broccoli can also be used in a juice extractor.
Finally, you can add a tablespoon of virgin linseed or rapeseed oil to your juice, as the presence of fat tends to increase the absorption of antioxidants such as lutein and zeaxanthin up to 50-fold [25].

  • First, wash the broccoli and cut into thin strips (1 cm maximum). This will make the broccoli less tough without cooking.
  • Continue by sautéing lardons with mushrooms.
