    The large number of indications treated by lavender positions this essential oil as a panacea.
    Organic Lavender Oil is frequently used in perfumery, food and to cleanse, calm and freshen the skin. It has broad antiseptic, healing and soothing properties. It relaxes the mind and body, restoring a sense of peace and proportion whilst energising the nerves and focusing the senses. Generally sedating, the oil can stimulate the central nervous system in higher doses.

    Characteristics

    Aroma: fresh, floral, grassy, airy, clear. Linalool has antalgic, anti-inflammatory (inhibits carrageenan-induced edema), antihypertensives, anxiolytics properties.

    Traditional use

    • Cramps, spasms and muscle spasms
    • Stress, anxiety, depression, agitation, insomnia.
    • Acne, eczema, psoriasis, pruritus, burns, ulcers, wounds, pressure ulcers, dermatitis, rosacea.
    • Rheumatism.
    • Hypertension.
    • Disorders of nervous origin: asthma, gastrointestinal spasm, nausea, headache, extrasystole.


    Recommendations for use

    • Internal use: 2 drops of essential oil, 2 to 3 times per day, in olive oil, for artery and nerve indications. Or diluted in a vegetable oil or honey to enhance a dish.
    • External use: 3 drops of essential oil on the arch, the inner wrist or the solar plexus (repeat as needed) for nerve indications and local applications for all other indications.
    • 4 drops of lavender essential oil on a cotton or a piece of wood to place in your closets will repel moths and give a pleasant smell to your clothes.
    • 2 drops of lavender essential oil on the underside of the pyjama collar or pillowcase will promote a rapid and restorative sleep.


    Precautions for use

    • Do not use during (for certain the first 3 months of) pregnancy and breastfeeding.
    • Not recommended for children under 3 months.

    • The vast majority of essential oils are to be used only diluted in a vegetable oil, honey or other suitable medium respecting the recommended dosages.

    • As essential oils are volatile, sensible to UV radiation and inflammable at high temperature, it is imperative to store them in a tightly closed dark glass bottle and at a temperature between 5 °C and 40 °C.

If you prefer delivery by Colissimo Extra with required signature, an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us before choosing this method.     • By cheque in euros, Payment by cheque is not accepted as the collection fees are prohibitive. The bank charges between €13 and €15. Any cheque received is automatically destroyed. We recommend payment by VISA or Mastercard, or bank transfer, which does not incur any charges. Payment by card is immediate and your order is dispatched within 24 hours (if all products are in stock). Bank transfer usually takes 2 to 3 days for bank-to-bank transfer.

    This right of withdrawal is exercised without penalty, with the exception of the cost of return.
