How does the vitamin Coenzyme Q10 work in our body?

The coenzyme Q10 is an essential vitamin for proper heart function. Our body contains billions of cells, each of which must produce energy. Energy is made inside our cells in a cellular organelle called the mitochondria. The latter is a kind of factory that is located in our cells and is responsible for the manufacture of our energy. The cardiac muscle cells contain the most mitochondria.

Why?

The heart is a muscle that is constantly working. It therefore needs a lot of energy. This is why cardiac muscle cells contain the most mitochondria. The fuel that creates all of this energy is coenzyme Q10, hence the importance of this product for all of our cellular energetics.

What happens with age?

With age, we are more and more tired, our heart is less efficient, our sports and intellectual capacities decrease, etc. This is all because of lower production of coenzyme Q10.

What about medicine?

Medicine addresses this vitamin by prescribing a class of drugs that are called statins, anti-cholesterol medication. Statins have one major side effect: lowering our coenzyme Q10 levels by 50%.

People of a certain age should consider taking a supplement of this vitamin to restore vitality and dynamism to their heart.

Those who are suffering from cholesterol should avoid taking a statin product but should sooner turn to a natural medication, especially based on red rice leaflet which helps to treat this cholesterol issue.
