3 Wellness Regimens for a Healthy Fall!

Traversez l'automne en forme grâce à ces 3 cures

We’re in the middle of fall. The days are getting shorter, temperatures are dropping, and perhaps you’re feeling that nagging fatigue setting in, that lack of energy when you wake up, those mood swings…

This is perfectly normal: your body, too, needs to adjust to this new rhythm. Now is the perfect time to boost your immune system, recharge your energy, and get your body moving again with natural, targeted, and seasonal treatments.

Here are three complementary treatments to help you stay in top shape this fall!

Treatment #1: Detoxify Your Liver to Get Off to a Good Start

Before boosting your immune system or increasing your energy levels, it’s essential to eliminate the toxins that are slowing down your body. Fall is an ideal time to revitalize your liver—the key organ responsible for detoxification—which is often compromised by modern diets, stress, or summer excesses.

Certain plants are particularly effective at supporting this function. Artichokes, thanks to their high cynarin content, promote bile production, improve fat digestion, and stimulate elimination.

When combined with black radish, which is rich in sulfur compounds, the detoxifying effect is enhanced. Another must-have: milk thistle, whose silymarin protects liver cells and promotes their regeneration.

If you're looking for a comprehensive solution, choose a liver support formula that combines several herbs, such as fumitory—which has purifying and tonic properties—or rosemary, which supports digestion and promotes abdominal comfort.

A 20-day treatment is often enough to get things back on track.

When it comes to your meals, choose seasonal vegetables that are rich in fiber and antioxidants: cabbage, beets, broccoli, citrus fruits, butternut squash… Eat them raw, as juice, in soup, or lightly steamed.

Round out your meals with whole grains, legumes, and fatty fish rich in omega-3s.

And don't forget to drink plenty of fluids—water, green tea, digestive herbal teas, or lemon juice—to reach your daily goal of 2 liters.

Treatment #2: Regain Your Energy Despite Seasonal Fatigue

Between the decrease in daylight, the change in pace, and the first signs of harsh weather, fall really puts your energy to the test. To avoid repeated energy slumps, focus on targeted active ingredients.

First and foremost, vitamin C, known for its benefits in combating fatigue and boosting immunity. If you’re looking for a natural source, acerola and camu camu are among the richest (30 to 40 times more than oranges).

For optimal absorption without causing stomach acidity, choose a sustained-release vitamin C supplement enriched with bioflavonoids and protected by enteric-coated capsules.

Vitamin D, which is essential as winter sets in, also requires close monitoring. As sunlight decreases, the body’s natural production of vitamin D drops. Supplementation in the form of oil or tablets is often necessary starting in October.

When it comes to minerals, be sure to monitor your intake of magnesium, calcium, and potassium, which are essential for nervous system balance and stress management. A complex combining these three minerals helps support your neuromuscular functions.

If you have a sensitive digestive system, opt for magnesium bisglycinate or malate, which are gentler and more easily absorbed. A 1- to 2-month course of treatment is ideal in the fall.

Finally, don’t forget to fuel your energy through your meals: gentle cooking, seasonal vegetables, good food combinations (proteins + vegetables, grains + vegetables), and a touch of raw vitality with sprouted seeds, seaweed, fresh pollen, or vegetable juices.

Tip #3: Prepare and Boost Your Immune System

The arrival of fall is also a wake-up call for the immune system. To help it defend you effectively, start by taking care of your gut microbiota, which alone is home to more than 60% of your body’s immune cells.

Probiotics—especially the Lactobacillus reuteri strain—are your allies this season. This strain, which is naturally present in your mucous membranes, strengthens your gut flora’s protective barrier and limits the growth of pathogenic germs.

A 30-day treatment may be enough to restore balance to your gut microbiome and strengthen your immune system.

At the same time, bee products offer you valuable support. Royal jelly, rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants, supports both vitality and immunity. Green propolis, rich in protective compounds, supports the respiratory and digestive mucous membranes.

If you have sensitive airways or are prone to repeated colds, consider echinacea, the star plant of fall. It supports the body’s natural defenses, particularly in the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) area.

Recommended treatment duration: 6 to 8 weeks.

By incorporating these three seasonal treatments into your routine, you naturally support your body during this transition phase. Fall then becomes a time for refocusing and renewal, perfect for recharging your energy… and facing winter in top shape.
