Red vine: your natural ally for healthy venous circulation
Used for centuries in phytotherapy, red vine leaves(Vitis vinifera) are particularly appreciated for their beneficial action on blood circulation. Rich in flavonoids, anthocyanins and tannins, they exert an antioxidant, astringent and vasoconstrictive effect that helps tone vein walls and reduce capillary permeability.
These properties make it an ideal remedy for :
Heavy, painful or swollenlegs, particularly in hot weather or at the end of the day.
Chronic venous disorders (varicose veins, venous insufficiency, hemorrhoids).
Couperose or diffuse redness linked to fragility of small blood vessels.
Hot flashes associated with menopause, linked to their action on microcirculation.
Red vine extracts are often recommended for people suffering from circulatory problems linked to diabetes or hypertension, although medical advice is essential in these cases.
Directions for use
- Either directly, about 1g per day with a large glass of water, or as an infusion of 1 to 2 tablespoons per bowl (about 10 g per 250 ml), 2 to 4 times a day, as part of a balanced diet.
For long-term action, take the leaves once a day for a period of 3 weeks, followed by a week without taking them, and repeat the whole process four times. - As an oily macerate for local improvement of blood circulation and heavy legs:
Half-fill a sterilized glass jar with the leaves and pour in the chosen vegetable oil until they are covered. Close the jar and place in a warm, sunny spot, and leave to stand for 3 to 6 weeks, shaking the jar 1x a day. Then filter (coffee filter or cloth) the mixture into a sterile container (this may take some time). If necessary, transfer to a labelled bottle and store in a cool place.
Essential oils can be added to reinforce the macerate's action (e.g. cypress, lemon...)
NB: For longer storage (approx. 1 year), it's best to use a base vegetable oil with low oxidation potential, e.g. sunflower, olive, jojoba or macadamia oils.

- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
- Store away from light, heat and moisture.
Production
Despite careful mechanical removal of foreign bodies during production, small quantities may remain. It is therefore advisable to carry out a visual inspection, and if necessary a sorting, before each use. No claims for reimbursement due to the presence of foreign bodies will be accepted.

This right of withdrawal is exercised without penalty, with the exception of the cost of return.
