Ear Tone: Product description
Ear Tone is a Swedish natural health product, which provides herbal extracts and minerals, which have been clinically shown to influence the perception of tinnitus. Although tinnitus is considered non-curable, it is possible to find some relief by taking supplements. In the study published in 2011, scientists found that with 532 mg of magnesium per day, the perception of tinnitus in the ear improved significantly. Ear Tone provides the same amount of magnesium and contains added ginkgo biloba and pine bark extracts, as these are known plant ingredients that help support peripheral blood. Pine bark has also been studied with respect to peripheral blood flow in people who experience tinnitus in the ears.
Recommended use
Daily dose (adults): Take 2 tablets daily, with or after a meal.
Duration of use: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 3 months.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health care practitioner prior to
use if you: are diabetic, are taking medications for diabetes, high blood pressure (antihypertensive medications), seizures, supplements, antacids, and/or laxatives containing magnesium. If you experience symptoms of hypoglycemia, including feelings of anxiety, dizziness, tremors, sweating, nausea, or headache, discontinue use and consult your health care professional. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to members of the Pinaceae family or if you have kidney problems. Some people may experience nausea and abdominal cramps. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner. Adverse reaction: Some people may experience diarrhea.
Contraindications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are taking health products that affect blood clotting (e.g., anticoagulants, clotting factor substitutes, acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E) as this may increase the risk of spontaneous bleeding.
