St. John's Wort: A Soothing Skin Tonic
Made by macerating fresh Hypericum perforatum flowers in organic sunflower oil, Bioflore’s St. John’s Wort oil macerate is a traditional remedy renowned for its soothing, restorative, and anti-inflammatory properties. When used topically, it effectively soothes sunburn, minor burns, skin irritations, and redness. Its analgesic action makes it a valuable ally for relieving sensitive, irritated, or painful skin.
Rich in natural active ingredients (hyperforin, hypericin, flavonoids), it promotes skin regeneration and helps restore comfort to delicate areas. It can be used undiluted or blended with soothing essential oils such as true lavender or rose geranium. Its gentle, easily absorbed texture leaves the skin supple, nourished, and soothed.
Directions for Use
- Soothing care: Apply a few drops to the irritated, sunburned, or sensitive area 2 to 3 times a day.
- After-sun care: Use undiluted on sun-exposed skin to soothe and repair.
- In combination: blend with fine lavender or Roman chamomile essential oils for an enhanced soothing effect.
Precautions
Do not apply before sun exposure (photosensitizing).
