An essential oil for circulation and respiratory balance
Native to the Mediterranean basin, the evergreen cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) is a slender conifer symbolizing vitality and endurance. Its Bioflore organic essential oil, distilled from its twigs and cones, is particularly appreciated for its veinotonic, lymphotonic, and anti-inflammatory properties.
It helps relieve heavy legs, hemorrhoidal disorders, and circulatory edema, while supporting venous and lymphatic tone.
Thanks to its rich composition of α-pinene, δ-3-carene, and myrcene, it also acts on the respiratory system: its antitussive, antispasmodic, and expectorant action helps to calm dry coughs and clear the respiratory tract.
In men, it is traditionally used for its prostate decongestant properties and its support for urinary comfort.
Directions for use
- Venous circulation: dilute 2 to 3 drops of essential oil in a teaspoon ofvegetable oil (calophyllum or macadamia) and massage the legs from bottom to top, morning and evening.
- Dry cough: dilute 1 drop in a teaspoon of honey or vegetable oil and apply to the chest or back.
- Male comfort: dilute 2 drops in vegetable oil and apply to the lower abdomen with a light massage.
Precautions for use
- Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, or children under 6 years of age.
- Do not administer orally to children under 12 years of age.
- Seek advice from a healthcare professional.
- Not recommended in cases of hormone-dependent conditions (cancer, fibroids, mastosis, endometriosis, etc.).
- Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a specialist.
- Risk of allergy (limonene): take care not to use too much in mixtures. A patch test on the inner elbow is recommended prior to any skin application (at least 48 hours before use).
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store away from heat and light.
