Rosemary verbenone essential oil: a general tonic!
Distilled from the flowering tops of Rosmarinus officinalis ssp. verbenone, Bioflore organic rosemary verbenone essential oil is known for its regenerating and balancing properties.
A true general tonic, it supports healthy liver function and promotes the elimination of toxins, especially after overeating or during periods of fatigue. It is also a useful essential oil for clearing the respiratory tract thanks to its natural mucolytic action.
In cosmetics, it is prized for its revitalizing effects on the skin: it stimulates cell regeneration, tones the tissues, and helps reduce the signs of aging and accelerate healing. Its fresh, herbaceous fragrance brings a feeling of clarity and dynamism, ideal for restoring energy and concentration.
Directions for use
- For massage: 1 to 2 drops diluted in a teaspoon ofvegetable oil, on the liver (stomach area, right side) or chest to clear the respiratory tract.
- For skin care: a few drops diluted in vegetable oil to revitalize mature or dull skin.
Precautions
- Seek advice from a healthcare professional.
- Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or children under 6 years of age.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years of age without medical advice.
- Not suitable for elderly people, people with epilepsy, or people with a history of seizures.
- Contraindicated for oral use in cases of liver, biliary, or pancreatic disorders.
- Not recommended in cases of hormone-dependent conditions (breast, ovary, endometrium).
- Prefer occasional, well-measured applications over short periods.
- Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice.
- Avoid diffusion into the atmosphere, or dilute to a maximum of 10% in a mixture with other milder essential oils.
- Risk of allergy (limonene, linalool, geraniol): be careful not to overdose in blends. The inner elbow test is recommended prior to any skin application (at least 48 hours before use).
- Keep out of reach of young children.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Store away from heat and light.
