A little-known mineral that promotes health!

There are many natural ways to maintain or regain your health. It is estimated that the percentage of the population currently deficient is up to 80%.

While vitamins have been in the spotlight for a long time, the minerals are equally important, yet their contributions are often overlooked. They are essential to the maintenance of structures, tissues and all the cells of our body. They allow the physiological systems to function properly.

One mineral in particular is really underestimated

It is however the third most abundant mineral in the body just after calcium and phosphorus. And one of its main functions is the transport of oxygen across cell membranes, which is absolutely essential for life.

This element is in fact a kind of agent that facilitates many different reactions in the body. This versatile element has an impressive number of preventive properties against aging and a multitude of diseases. Here are some examples:

  1. Sulfur allows proteins to perform their main physiological roles. Among others, keratin which strengthens hair and nails, but also cartilage and connective tissue (tendons, ligaments). This molecule is also anti-inflammatory. In the absence of sulfur, proteins lose their structure and functionality. Another mineral prevents and treats hair loss. This is the silicon.
  2. Sulfur can be compared to an enzyme. It transports electrons to the mitochondria so that they can fulfill their energy production role. It is also involved in the metabolism of vitamins B1 and B8. It is also involved in detoxification, particularly of heavy metals.
  3. The scientific studies that have gone into detail about this mineral have led to unexpected and spectacular results. The researchers themselves were impressed by the metabolic importance of this element.
  4. Since we know that cancer develops mainly in anaerobic conditions and that sulfur is involved in tissue oxygenation, it is easy to understand its importance in the prevention of this pathology.

Another unexpected effect was a reduction in the side effects of chemotherapy, but also in the size of the tumor in people with cancer.

Other people who suffered from arthritis reported feeling a very marked improvement in their pain.

In others, its effect has been shown to improve healing, acne, psoriasis, burns and other skin conditions.

In many cases, it has proven to be antifungal or beneficial for cardiovascular problems, with electrocardiograms to support it.

People with diabetes or insulin resistance have also improved with the addition of sulfur.

Researchers also found improvements in mood and mental disorders. Thus, people supplemented with sulfur were able to reduce their intake of antidepressants in only 3 days.

Remember that sulfur also increases the body's natural production of glutathione.

How is it that so many people are deficient in sulfur?

Skeptics will certainly say that it is incomprehensible that we are so lacking in an element so essential to health. Let's just remember that during the last 60 years, our food has been excessively transformed and impoverished, whether it is plants, meat or dairy products.

There is also fluoride and chlorine, two excessively disruptive chemicals that are added to tap water, but which we come into contact with on a daily basis through many other factors.

Most amino acids contain sulfur and are found mainly in meats and offal. This is why vegetarians are more prone to deficiencies.

But because of the many environmental pollutions and our lifestyle, even if we eat meat, there is a good chance that we are deficient in sulfur.

One of the most interesting natural sources of sulfur is the MSMor methyl-sulfonyl-methane. It is a natural sulfurous element extracted from plants.

If you choose a dietary supplement of this type, make sure it is made from non-GMO plants. If this is the case, this supplement can only bring you benefit and vitality in general.
