Mono-diet: the diet par excellence to boost your natural defenses

Allowing your body to fight naturally against infections and microbes - whatever the season - can certainly require the help of various plants that will support and help your body to fight; but the priority is and remains a healthy lifestyle. These daily habits must become reflexes and must be fully integrated into your life. No matter what natural remedies you use, if your lifestyle rules are not followed, your treatments will be in vain and the disease will constantly return. By combining a healthy lifestyle and a healthy diet, your natural defenses will be stronger and ready to face all possible weather conditions, regardless of their nature.

One of these hygienic practices to adopt is the realization of a monodiet regularly which will help your body to purify itself, to increase the vital potential and thus to be in great shape. A mono-diet consists of consuming a single food for a defined period of time, which can be one evening a week, half a day or one day during the week. Note however not to go beyond the 3 days in order not to weaken the organism and thus risk to disturb your body. Easier to practice than fasting, the mono-diet allows an organic drainage and thus a purification of the blood.
As Valentin Marchesseau said "The mono-diet is a fast disguised but without the disadvantages. "
So for those few hours, you're going to be eating one kind of food, so to put all the odds on your side, I invite you to eat organic, local and seasonal. There is no point in clogging yourself further with pesticides and other disruptors when the goal is to purify yourself.

What can I eat during this digestive rest?

  • Cooked apples, raw apples, applesauce (without sugar or honey), apples in juice... In short, apples are allowed in all their forms to satisfy your taste buds. Take this opportunity to taste the different varieties and enjoy the different flavors that come with them. Because of its appetite-suppressant action, it is one of the easiest monodietes to practice.
  • Semi-full grain rice with no added sauce or oil that can be eaten hot or cold. It is the ideal monodiet for those who are cold during winter for example. Be careful with brown rice which can be irritating to your digestive system
  • Grapes... The monodiet par excellence in autumn because all the emunctories are solicited. It combines gustatory pleasure and total detoxification.
  • Grated carrots, raw, cooked, pureed, crunchy, the possibilities are as vast as for the apple. Its richness in beta-carotene will allow you to have a splendid skin at the end of the treatment.

Sweet potato, quinoa, banana, there are many possibilities to satisfy everyone's needs. Let's avoid chocolate, French fries or candy monodiets because they obviously don't work. The monodiet is not to be practiced lightly. It requires prior preparation to condition the excretory organs that will be affected. A monodiet is effective if it is carried out with care, so get the right information before practicing it: therapists are there to direct you properly. Whatever the cure, our liver function will be slowed down and will therefore allow the liver to rest and to clean itself and regenerate calmly. This digestive rest allows a certain economy of our vital force and a reinforcement of our energy and thus of our natural defenses.
