September's fruits and vegetables

In addition to being cheaper and tastier, did you know that seasonal foods meet our current nutritional needs? And yes! Nature is so well made that in summer, we find melons, watermelons or strawberries that have particularly thirst-quenching properties because they contain a lot of water. Conversely, in winter, it is the season for sweet potatoes, pumpkins etc. which are richer in carbohydrates and contain a little more calories and then allow us to better cope with the winter cold.

In addition, they are also richer in vitamins and minerals. In fact, unlike others harvested out of season which spend more time in transport and cold storage, seasonal fruits and vegetables are harvested at maturity and can therefore be consumed more quickly.

Let's not even talk about the fact that in order to compensate for the climatic conditions, most, if not all, out-of-season food is sprayed with pesticides and chemical fertilizers.

And finally... Eating in season helps preserve our planet!
