Hay fever: what really works?

This condition is also called allergic rhinitis. It belongs to the large family of allergies and is part of the seasonal type of affections. It manifests itself by one or more of these symptoms: a heavy nasal discharge, bursts of sneezing, stinging, burning or watery eyes.

In this case, it is recommended that you include yogurt in your daily menu. Yogurt containing live germs helps to stimulate the immune system and thus considerably reduces the vulnerability to allergic rhinitis.

If you choose yogurt, be careful about the quality of the yogurt when you buy it because it is only yogurt with active cultures that stimulates the immune system to produce more gamma interferons, agents that help fight infections and prevent allergic reactions. The more gamma interferons are present in the blood, the less immunoglobulin E (IgE) is produced, the antibodies that are largely responsible for inflammatory reactions. You will get a similar effect by ingesting probiotics containing live bacteria and without having the disadvantages presented by the absorption of dairy products.

You should start your treatment three months before the beginning of spring, before the pollen season or before the cold season (depending on your case), because the body needs some time to form a large enough quantity of gamma interferons to fight the allergens when the time comes.

For this pathology, each case must be treated individually. Some cases respond well to homeopathic treatments. It may also be useful to look for the responsible allergens through the morphea test.
