Who benefits from obesity?

Obesity, insidiously and skilfully maintained by the agri-food industry, has allowed the development of a whole market of related services to serve this new social category, the obese. This category is becoming the majority in North America.

Currently in the United States, 5% of babies 0-1 year old are obese. This allows other industries to enrich themselves by creating special product lines, equipment or clothing for "maxi-babies". This is the case, for example, with car seats designed especially for obese babies!

Diabetes is currently a major health scourge among others

It will certainly be the most common disease of the next 20 years. In fact, type 2 diabetes is quite often linked to obesity. During the 20th century, it was called fatty type diabetes or old age diabetes because it developed after a life full of all kinds of parties and good food, which in the long run led to an exhaustion of the pancreas. At the end of the 20th century and in the beginning of the 21st century, people in their 30s, 20s, and even very young adolescents are found to have this type of diabetes, which in the long term can lead to loss of vision or necrosis of the tips of the limbs due to damage to small vessels. So many young people who will have to lead a life of sickness, even handicapped and permanently assisted by chemical medication.

Without falling into a "conspiracy" vision

If we analyze the situation intelligently, we can see that the same industrialists manufacture pesticides, food products, cigarettes, but also medicines or food supplements distributed in pharmacies that respond to the health problems they themselves have created.

Currently, the main issue at stake in the corridors of power in Washington is to declare obesity as a syndrome, a new disease, which would allow the development of new drugs covered by our health system. The result is even more profit for the big pharmaceutical or agri-food lobbies, which are the same ones since they produce the intoxicating foodstuffs in the first place and then the drugs to treat the diseases resulting from these chronic intoxications.

Junk food

We notice that these commercial companies compete with ingenuity and show an overflowing imagination as soon as it is a question of marketing to make sell and maintain the "junk food". The latest technique used by these industries is "neuromarketing", a technique that allows to condition individuals even better. It involves placing people in scanners and observing the reactions and emotions of the brain when certain images are shown. This makes it possible to determine which colors, which music, which shapes the subconscious responds to in order to better target advertisements. The Americans call this the "buy button", which will create in the consumer the desire to buy or consume a product. This technique is already being used in Europe for candy advertisements aimed at children.
