2 ingredients for ideal herbal teas for women

Since the beginning of time, we women have had a very important need to take care of ourselves. In order to live an optimal woman's cycle and to be in perfect harmony with our being but also our deepest self, taking control of our physical health is really very important. Plants are often our friends and they take care of us, as well as a mother takes care of her infant.

By searching in the organic stores as well as in the tea stores, the choices of teas or herbal teas for women are numerous: breastfeeding teas, diet teas, herbal teas for women's well being, flowered teas for women, etc. Brands have fun creating as many flavors as there are women on earth. In order to find the ideal beverage, you should test them one by one to savor a delicate moment of feminine well-being. Let's face it, we are often attracted to delicate packaging with soft colors or, on the contrary, a flamboyant design. This will correspond to the need of the moment, the industrialists know it and bait us very often.

But know that the best way to be in tune with yourself and your wellness drink is to create your own herbal tea. To do this, I propose two plants that can be used daily in a real elixir adapted to each of us.

Raspberry leaves: they contain a tannin which gives the fragarine

raspberry leaf tea

Very well known for being the feminine plant par excellence, the raspberry tree has very interesting properties for the woman's cycle but also for her well-being.

The raspberry is a uterine tonic, that is to say that it will give strength to the uterine muscle but without causing any risk to the pregnancy.
It is also rich in vitamins and minerals such as iron, magnesium or calcium.
Used in cases of heavy periods, uterine pain or inflammation. Note that it will have a positive action on premenstrual syndrome, cramps, overabundant menstruation, endometriosis, fibroids and even infertility.
The raspberry tree is also renowned for its remineralizing quality.
It is the plant of pregnancy, so it is ideal for pregnant and nursing women.

Nettle

nettle tea

The plant that irritates us when we touch it, that scares us in the gardens because of its spikes that scare children, is however a very interesting plant for women, but also for men.

Here are some properties:

  • Alkalizing
  • Astringent
  • Nutrient
  • Hemostatic
  • Diuretic
  • Rich in nutrients, minerals and vitamins as well as chlorophyll
  • Blood tonic and blood regenerator
  • Helps in case of anemia, chronic fatigue, lack of energy thanks to its richness in iron but also in magnesium (no more constant sugar cravings), calcium, potassium, manganese and silica.
  • Nettle is ideal if you have a urinary problem or weakness in the kidneys
  • It favors intestinal elimination and is therefore also very interesting for the suppression of hormones called xenoestrogens.
  • It also relieves the menstrual cramps and the too abundant menstruations, it thus makes it possible to decrease the flow. Taken over the long term, the cramps can totally disappear.
  • It is an emmenagogue plant: Medicinal plants that stimulate blood flow to the pelvic area and uterus are called emmenagogues.

How to make your own herbal tea?

From dried plants - either bought directly or dried in a traditional way, you can make a 50-50 mixture of each plant. In an opaque jar or kraft paper bag, you can leave your tea for several weeks. Each day, up to three times, you can prepare a mug of hot water at 85 degrees in which you will have added a large teaspoon of the mixture (in a tea/tisan filter). Let it steep for about ten minutes and enjoy your hot drink. If the taste is not to your liking, a teaspoon of honey can improve the taste of your divine beverage.

These moments must be privileged because these herbal teas represent a lot in terms of femininity because they regulate and soothe menstruation but also at the level of the form and the vital energy which circulates in each of us. By incorporating this daily ritual into your life, you may enjoy a change in your mood as well, which will be positive much more often.
Take some time for yourself...but know that this herbal tea may well become your ally for life.
