What makes borage oil so interesting is its high content of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential omega-6 fatty acid. This compound is involved in the production of prostaglandins, lipid messengers that regulate inflammation and support cellular exchanges.

Borage oil also contains a fine array of vitamins: A (regenerating), D (protective), E (antioxidant) and K (soothing). Added to this is the presence ofomega-3These compounds reinforce the skin's protective and restorative effects.

Thanks to this synergy, it promotes cell regeneration, prevents dehydration, improves skin elasticity and reduces redness. It is also reputed to soothe inflammatory skin disorders, such as eczema or psoriasis, applied topically or as an internal cure.
