We now know that laughter is a major health asset. So if you're not naturally cheerful, we have good news for you, because laughter can be learned like everything else!

Know that any personal development approach allows you to develop more humor and also to better manage "unhappy" events. There are currently therapists who specialize in this field.

If you are looking for a more direct way, join a Laughter Club (see Laughter Academy). Laughter Clubs were started in India in 1995 by Dr Madan Kataria. There are now more than 6,000 of them in over 60 countries. Laughter is experienced in a group setting for the benefit of all. It offers all kinds of exercises to stimulate one's own ability to laugh, to relax and to free oneself from inhibitions. All of this helps to maintain health and cultivate a "postive-attitude" in order to have an increasingly joyful approach to life.

You should also know that there are instructors ready to pass on their techniques to people who want to start a club.

If you want to take action and put more humor and laughter in your life, there are a thousand and one tips: books, movies, websites, clubs, therapies...

Some little tips and tricks to foster "positive attitudes" :

1° Start your day with a morning laugh and you'll start the day off right.

2° Associate with positive, dynamic and cheerful people. Shun the complainers and pessimists!

3° Display in your interior, put in your wallet, purse, pockets, car, little jokes, photos, small objects that make you smile or smile. Be creative! Be original, it will amuse you and those around you.

4° Play songs, cheerful music, sketches in your car or your living room and skip the television news and other sad or negative news both in words and images that pollute you, intoxicate you, pump your energy and lower your vibratory rate.

5° Remember your last crazy laugh or the last joke your best friend or colleague, your brother or sister told you...

6° Take a step back from the small or big annoyances you encounter.

7° Think of the sun that illuminates your heart from within and not the clouds that hide the sun from outside!

8° And Take action! If you're feeling bad about yourself, if you're feeling the blues, if you're feeling a little "sluggish" remember that there is always a solution and the solutionlies inaction!
