Which essential oils to breathe better?

At this time of year when microbes invade the weakest organisms, the ENT sphere is the area most affected by this winter weather: clogged and congested noses,mucus, sore throat are so many symptoms common in most of the weakened population.

L’eucalyptus Radié : le Roi de la respiration

Used as a preventive as well as a curative, essential oil of eucalyptus radiata Radiant - rich in 1.8 cineole - is abacterial and powerful antiviral. La lavande et le tea-tree : pour aider le système immunitaire

These two essential oils are indispensable in the AROMA family kit. Indeed, the therapeutic properties of these two oils are suitable for many ailments. Therefore, when suffering from ENT disorders, they act with a disinfectant and antiseptic action.  

  • Lavender will be preferred in its variety "aspic" which will then be ideal to treat the ground in background treatment. Moreover, its biochemistry allows an action on the broncho-pulmonary axis thanks to the presence of cineole oxide.

  • Teatree, due to its broad spectrum action will be able to help the weakened immune system and then allow for better ENT health very quickly.

Le Niaouli : pour une ouverture respiratoire

From the "melaleuca" family just like teatree, this essential oil will be very interesting on respiratory ailments. Mostly composed of cineole oxides, niaouli allows to open the breathing for those who are very congested.  Indeed, it is by rubbing the torso and upper back with a mixture composed of niaouli and neutral vegetable oil that the nose will quickly unblock to offer a wider and ample breathing.  Some people add to this mixture the essential oil of eucalyptus radiata for an even more aerial effect.

Mixtures must be prepared under certain hygienic conditions and the proportions must not be measured randomly. If in doubt, consult your herbalist, phytotherapist or pharmacist.

Finally, despite the cold that our homes take on, think about airing out your home every day to renew the ambient air and thus allow for better oxygen circulation.
