When a crisis becomes a hope

From time immemorial, the crises that humanity has gone through have allowed it to progress. It is always in times of war that technological advances are the most dazzling. There is no question of sociological analysis here. Simply an invitation to rethink your daily life with a benevolent look at the present.

A "forced" isolation with oneself.

Reflecting on one's condition is not everyone's daily life... Finding oneself alone and/or locked up, cloistered, awakens in each of us our most archaic fears: the deprivation of freedom, death. The impression of emptiness is manifested by the need to fill up: we shop excessively, we eat anarchically, we gathers information here and there, we start to play sports, etc...

Finding oneself alone in front of oneself is frightening to the one who has never taken the time to do so, to the one who runs tirelessly from task to task, to the one who does not take the time to really listen to himself.

Today, by force of circumstance, we can no longer play deaf. The reality is in front of our eyes, in our body, in our heart.

This disturbing experience is rich in lessons: it reminds us of our vulnerability, our ability to change our view of life, the world and ourselves.

It is an invitation to explore what is going on inside us...

When confinement awakens creativity

Since the confinement began, many have had their work cancelled or modified with, for many, children to manage simultaneously. Everyone had to dig deep within themselves to figure out how to adapt. This is where creativity was stimulated.

Professional and amateur artists opened the ball with concerts, choreographies, shows thought as real digital artworks. It's the art of resilience, the art of rebounding, the art of débrouillardiseor how to turn an uncomfortable situation into a source of inspiration...

Everyone, at their own level, used strategies to create anew daily routine, to quell anxieties and to return to a reassuring and comforting normalcy.

The creative power is powerful. The only limits that shape it are those of your imagination, so it is unlimited!

Revisit your priorities.

The crisis is only a crisis if you think of it as such. It can just as easily be perceived as an opportunity. Which one? It's up to you... There's no wrong answer. This can be an opportunity to rethink your daily life, your way of consuming, of moving, of educating/teaching your children, of working, of taking care of your health, of your loved ones, of your couple, about your needs/wants, your must-haves/small pleasures, about your place of living, your friends, etc...

Consciously or not, it is in these moments of discomfort that we are led to take stock of our priorities: our career, our family, our parents, our children, etc... What about us, personally, in all this? The world is crumbling beneath our feet .... Our habits are upset... We are the only ones left. Where do I stand? Where do I stand? Either I decide to fight against the current, or I ride the wave...

Resistance to change.

The change is scary and it's normal! Nevertheless, it reminds us of the impermanence of the universe. Everything is in constant motion, inexorably in order to always maintain the balance. The human body also functions in this way through homeostasis. The macrocosm in the microcosm.

In order to find an inner alignment, a emotional stabilitye, perhaps it is useful to seek fluidity and flexibility in our thinking. Don't stay stuck in a certain pattern and open up to the field of possibilities which is, in itself, unlimited.

Perhaps it's time to trust yourself and your ability to adapt and resilience to see a future much more aligned with your values.

To conclude

Everyone has their own way of handling a crisis. There is no right or wrong way. It awakens our deepest fears and forces us to find our place with humility. There is a before and after. It is up to each person to choose consciously, in the light of his or her heart, how he or she sees the future. It is now that it happens...
