Gemmotherapy, the principles of this natural therapy

Gemmotherapyis a branch of herbal medicine that uses buds and young shoots as a remedy for various physical and emotional ailments. The fresh plants are thus macerated in a glycerine mixture creating a glycerine macerate.

Why use buds and young shoots? Because buds are considered plant embryos. They contain within them all the therapeutic potential of the plant. Indeed, in the bud we find: the bark, the leaves, the flowers and the fruit of the plant. It is a real concentrate of benefits.

Sinugem, a complex to breathe freely

Sinugemis a synergy of buds of alder, hornbeam, black currant and young shoots of rose hip (or wild rose). Let's look in detail at the benefits and characteristics of each of these components.

  • Alder bud: Alnus Glutinosa

Alder is a tree that grows in wetlands. It has the ability to "mop up" swampy ground. It is therefore the remedy to drain the organisms. It eliminates excess moisture that stagnates in our bodies. Toxins and mucus are thus dislodged and led to the exit.

Alder in glycerin maceration is also an anti-inflammatory. It consequently calms the inflammations of the mucous membranes.

  • Hornbeam: Carpinus Betulus

Charming bourgeon is an antispasmodic of the respiratory tractand specifically of the sinus mucosa. It calms sneezing and inflammations of ENT and respiratory mucosa.

At the same time, it activates the elimination of toxins by the kidneys in priority as well as by the liver. In naturopathy, excess mucus especially at the respiratory level is a sign of a tired liver that no longer properly eliminates "glue" type waste.

Thus the charm acts locally and more deeply in the problems of respiratory ailments.

  • Cassis bud : Ribes Nigrum

The currant bud is an adrenal stimulant. It is often added to gemmotherapy preparations as a catalyst for synergy. It amplifies and supports the action of other budgeons. It is then said to be adaptogenic. In addition, it is considered an anti-inflammatory, ananti-allergic and a general tonic.

  • Young shoots of Rosehip : Rosa Canina

Rosehip otherwise known as wild rose is an immunostimulant generally recommended for children. It stimulates the immune system without attacking it. It soothes also the irritated respiratory mucosa and facilitates their healing. Rosehip is an asset in this complex as it is particularly useful for any issues that tend to become chronic or cyclical. So if you tend to cold at the slightest change in temperature, Sinugem is for you.
