The 5 keys to the well-being barometer

Do you dream of finally feeling good about yourself? Do you aspire to total well-being? So you've certainly already put things in place: you've gone on a Thalasso cure, you've been to the beautician, you've lost a little weight (or you've gained some), you've changed your haircut but in the end, nothing has really changed! When you look in the mirror every morning, you still don't have that little glint in your eye. What is missing?

Then ask yourself the right question! But what do you really want from wellness? What is your goal to feel good in your skin, in your body but also in your mind? And yes, taking into consideration one's mental body and mind is very important. We often think that by taking care of our shell, we will change all our perspectives but it is not so. Indeed, because before you feel good about your body, you have to feel good about your head.

Here are 5 keys to help you feel better

  1. I respect myself and listen to my body's needs

By dint of brutalizing this body through hard work, through physical and mental exhaustion, we end up with physical exhaustion that pushes us very far from our "well-being" objectives. Therefore, listen to the first signs of fatigue of your body and respect its needs: sleep, power supplyrest, activity. Try to stay aligned with your own needs and respect the body that carries you every day. Then ask yourself the right questions at every moment: What do I need today? How does my body feel? Do I have a particular feeling? Am I hurting somewhere? Do I need to land? Should I stop?

  2. I accept that I am not perfect.

How many of us fall into perfectionism for fear of our imperfection? This race towards the quest for perfection of things leads us again towards an imbalance of self and towards a loss of harmony. We are all different with qualities but also defects. Taking into consideration that these flaws are part of our totality makes us more human and therefore the acceptance of not being perfect is part of our life path.

  3. I am learning to love myself

Isn't this the hardest path that human beings have ever had to take throughout their lives? To love each other! Those who are on a journey of personal development know that having unconditional love for oneself is a winding road full of joys and sorrows, pitfalls and happinesses. Learning to love yourself is part of a life journey that leads to well-being. But let's not forget that very often, it is the path itself that brings us this inner alignment.

  4. I'm escaping

We work hard 5 days out of 7 (sometimes 6) and we forget to take time to recharge our batteries, to escape, to forget ourselves and especially... to enjoy ourselves. Inner creativity is part of our real needs: reading, writing, painting, photographing, observing nature, hugging a tree, walking your dog, listening to the sound of leaves. Take this time to simply be there with you, focused only on your needs, desires and feelings. And above all, enjoy this moment without any guilt.

  5. I surround myself with positive people

We tend to surround ourselves with bad people, toxic people, who do not help us to be kind in our lives. One feels pulled down, without being able to move forward on this marvelous path that is life. By surrounding yourself with positive people, you allow yourself to get the best out of yourself and to let yourself be carried towards your well-being, your self-love, your path to happiness.

Listen to yourself, love yourself and most of all, enjoy this path you are living now.
