The end of the myth of cerebral omnipotence

Since the beginning of the 20th century, researchers and neuroscientists have been studying the brain. They consider the body as a simple thinking machine. This mechanistic and reductive vision of the all-powerful neurology obscures the "human", spiritual and subtle side of man. Despite the undeniable progress in neuroscience, medicine and hygiene, we are currently experiencing real epidemics of allergies, autoimmune diseases, glandular disorders and, more seriously, neuronal and brain degeneration. All of these disease processes are affecting younger and younger populations. But where do they come from and what are their true origins?

Is the brain an intelligent organ?

Neuroscience has developed particularly well over the last two decades. They explain all our human functioning. However, the brain is an organ, as are the liver, kidneys, stomach or heart. How to explain that an organ, even if it is the brain, would be able to think, to feel, to experience emotions or to show a conscience?

This was the question that plagued Dr. Jean Gautier (1891 - 1968) throughout his life. Born congenitally hypothyroid (a condition close to mongolism, but without genetic connotation), he overcame and corrected his handicap by taking thyroid extracts. This hormonal therapy allowed him to be cured, but above all it was the cause of the questioning of the major role attributed to the brain for almost two centuries.

Dr. Jean Gautier is specialized in endocrinology. He is the author of nearly 10,000 pages of work and research in this field and has written several books on the functioning and importance of the glandular system.

Strong arguments against the questioning of brain primacy

If we look more closely at the development of the embryo, we see that there is already an outline of a thyroid as early as day 12e of gestation; yet at this stage there is still no outline of a nervous system. This observation alone should be sufficient to confirm the functional anteriority of the glandular system. Another major confirmation of this anteriority can never be denied by any physiologist, it is the fact that the nervous system of the newborn is totally immature at birth. Indeed, the latter will only be fully functional and myelinated around the 9th month of the child's air life. In addition, in utero, the fetus' thyroid hormones, in collaboration with those of the mother, are responsible for the first heartbeats in the embryo as early as the 3rd month. Similarly, myelination (the formation of myelin sheaths around neurons) and synaptogenesis (the junction between neurons) will only be finalized with the help of the child's thyroid hormones (mainly thyroxine) around the age of one. This is when he or she is ready to stand, walk and really start communicating with those around them.

The thyroid, the gland of life

These strong arguments should normally be enough to restore the thyroid gland and the glandular system to their rightful place. In any case, they were enough for Dr. Jean Gautier to explain that the hormonal and glandular system is THE system of life in relationship and to name the thyroid gland, the gland of life.

THYROID GLAND

Endocrine disruptors are currently in the news on a regular basis. And more and more researchers and scientists affirm that their nuisance is already carried out during the pregnancy since they affect the thyroid gland of the mother as well as that of the fetus. These joint and cumulative glandular dysfunctions generate health problems in the unborn child. The report "Demain, tous crétins" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q740mbXXRnU or https://boutique.arte.tv/detail/demain_tous_cretins) perfectly illustrates this awareness, as well as the theories developed by Dr. Jean Gautier, theories taken up, disseminated and deepened by Jean du Chazaud. Mr. Jean du Chazaud, a psychologist by training, is the legal heir to the colossal work of Dr. Gautier. He is currently giving training in endocrinology and psychology. This avant-garde and "dissident" approach bridges the gap between thought, consciousness, emotions, spirituality and physiology. A perfectly coherent and logical vision, and in total symbiosis with the holistic concept of naturopathy.
