Cellulite affects almost everyone (9 out of 10 women)... so let's face it: it's almost impossible to eliminate. But as summer approaches, you want to take care of yourself. A few months ago we told you about essential oils effective in the fight against cellulite. In this article we present you a 100% natural, effective and easy to make care to degum the capitons!

What is cellulite?

Cellulite, or orange peel skin, is a natural physiological phenomenon that results from a cluster of fat cells in the subcutaneous connective tissue and affects nine women out of ten at some point in their lives. This is often due to poor drainage of the body, resulting in a compression of blood and lymphatic vessels, leading to an increase in the size of fat cells. Once installed, cellulite is quite difficult to dislodge and many "miracle" solutions are proposed on the market. However, you should know that it is not possible to remove it but you can mitigate it and limit its consequences (pain, hematoma, edema, ...) thanks to essential oils, the simplest solutions being sometimes the most effective.

Your homemade anti-cellulite treatment

In this article, we are going to present you a100% natural and effective cellulite treatmentbut you have to be well aware that without changing certain lifestyle habits such as moving regularly, hydrating sufficiently and eating healthy foods, you will not get successful results.

Let's take a look at the ingredients used in this recipe.

Good to know: Note that you must be very careful with essential oils and that they are not recommended for children under 6 years old as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women.

To avoid any risk of burns, irritation or intoxication (essential oils being very concentrated), do not apply essential oils directly to the skin, the ideal being to dilute them in a vegetable oil. In this treatment, we chose shea butter as the base to dilute them. This oil has moisturizing, healing and softening properties. It melts at body temperature, which is an asset to penetrate the essential oils to the skin. In addition shea butter facilitates the elimination of the orange peel effect. What more could you ask for?

  • Lemon essential oil, is highly concentrated in limonene, which gives it lipid-lowering properties, that is, it promotes lipolysis (destruction of fat bodies), leading to a decrease in blood fat levels. But this is not its only asset. It is also draining, resulting in better blood and lymphatic circulation, and it promotes digestion.
  • Atlas cedar essential oil, on the other hand, contains powerful active ingredients to dissolve fat during digestion (trans alpha atlantone). It has a "fat-burning" action by causing the destruction of the cells of the adipose tissue specialized in the storage of fats. It also has the advantage of activating arterial and lymphatic blood circulation.
  • Sea fennel essential oil, or marine fennel, contains a large amount of terpenes, making it highly diuretic and aquaretic. This oil thus helps to fight against aqueous cellulite thanks to its draining action, facilitating the evacuation of the surplus of water of the organization by increasing the volume of eliminated water. It also helps to fight against adipose cellulite by promoting the elimination of fat from your body.
  • Lemongrass essential oil, or lemongrass, contains citrals in high quantities, which will decongest, decrease the swelling of fat cells under the hypodermis that compress the blood and lymph vessels, preventing them from draining water. This oil also has vasodilating properties, which improves blood circulation and helps eliminate edema.
