Food depleted by life

The evolution of man over the millennia has been increasing and certainly even harmful to our planet. In the early days of life, we were hunter-gatherers with limited mobility and therefore consumed the fruit of our crops mainly.

Nature provided us with a lot of very good quality food, but above all, freshly ripened and, of course, seasonal products. Each fruit and vegetable grew at a specific time of the year. Moreover, there was no conservation (or very little in those days) and we did not force nature to produce more than it wanted to provide. Of course, we were in harmony and peace with the deep nature and the earth. Unlike today, where we consume much more than the natural resources allow.

To date in 2017

We are far from those times when food was rich and full of good nutrients essential to our growth. Indeed, the population has greatly increased and there are billions of us on this earth who want to consume the food offered by the earth. Unfortunately, we consume faster than the earth has to offer and we let ourselves be overwhelmed by life, the advertisements that incite us to consume more and more and generally badly. The days of biting into an apple straight from the tree are long gone and we are faced with depleted foods.

Our body is composed of water, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and minerals. Also, we must draw a certain number of elements from our food to grow and advance in full health on the path of life. Already Hippocrates taught us "let your food be your medicine" because it is through natural food that our body can be enriched and built. Unfortunately, today, we mass produce with or without pesticides and chemical fertilizers, we store, we refrigerate, we import, etc. Finally, we spoil the only natural resource that the earth gives us for free. Indeed, a fruit that would have grown and ripened in the ground does not have the same nutritional composition as a fruit in a greenhouse and moreover, engorged with pesticides. We need to be realistic about food quality today in 2017.

To date, the population is often deficient due to a lack of food available to us, but also due to a lack of hygiene and dietary education. Indeed, to make up for this lost food richness, society has quickly started to produce processed foods that are harmful to our health by their nutritional poverty. Moreover, it is not uncommon to associate certain diseases, old or recent, with nutritional deficiencies. For example, anemia is an iron deficiency.

In addition to the denatured diet, it is also recognized that the quality of life we all have today prevents us from assimilating nutrients properly by making them less bioavailable. For example:

  • The magnesium will be flushed from the body through the urine much more quickly when under stress. This will have an impact on other minerals such as calcium.
  • The vitamin D will be much less assimilated if we don't take full advantage of the sun. Sun treatments should normally be done on a daily basis. Is this really possible in our regions that are poor in light and sunshine?
  • The smoking, alcohol and birth control pills cause some vitamins to be unavailable or destroyed.

Other cases exist of course because the body informs us that the current life is no longer suitable. Therefore, in addition to choosing a diet that meets our physiological needs with organic and seasonal fruits and vegetables, it is often essential to turn to a nutritional supplementation with the integration of healthy food supplements adapted to our needs.
