Help your body by limiting toxins

We ingest them, we breathe them... Whether we are aware of it or not, intoxicants are everywhere! In addition to the waste that our body produces itself, we are constantly exposed to many pollutants: dyes, alcohol, preservatives, pesticides, nicotine, heavy metals, drugs and other chemical substances accumulate in our body and accelerate aging.

Five of our organs are called emunctories: the liver, intestines, kidneys, lungs and skin

This term means that these organs are supposed to be able to eliminate the toxins that invade us from both sides.

  • The liver is the most important and most stressed emunctory. It filters and eliminates waste, but is also capable of eliminating a large number of toxic and carcinogenic substances, when healthy.
  • The gut also plays a big role. Many substances can stagnate, ferment and putrefy in it, in case of malfunction (constipation, for example), and, as a result, promote autointoxication.
  • The kidneys dilute waste products filtered out of the bloodstream in the urine.
  • The skin is a double escape door. It eliminates by the sebaceous glands and by the sweat glands.
  • The lungs are a pathway for eliminating waste gases.

When the body is functioning optimally and is not overloaded with toxins, these elimination systems do their job properly by breaking down the waste products that will be discharged, in order to maintain the balance within the body.

Unfortunately, these organs are much better at destroying natural toxins than man-made ones; between stress and junk food, our modern eating habits and lifestyles tend to saturate these "processing factories". The intoxication of the body causes cellular dysfunction and, in turn, promotes disease.

Limit toxins to help your body

When the body generates too many toxins, does not eliminate them efficiently or receives them massively and constantly, they accumulate and cause many health problems. The symptoms are diverse and varied: fatigue, allergies, sleep disorders, digestive problems (constipation, bloating...) or skin problems (acne, irritations...) and many others. All of these small ailments can alert us to a possible (and probable) toxin overload. It is then helpful to begin a detoxification program that will prevent the accumulation of toxins and support natural processes.

Simple habits to put in place to limit intoxication

  1. Eat organic food and thus reduce the intake of harmful and potentially dangerous pesticides, hormones and other vaccines,
  2. Drink enough good quality water daily to eliminate waste,
  3. Hydrate and distribute nutrients,
  4. Practice regular physical activity to optimize the metabolism and promote elimination through perspiration.
  5. Rest also promotes the proper evacuation of toxins.

The consumption of certain products also favors clogging and these should be avoided as much as possible: salt, sugar, alcohol, saturated fats, cigarettes, as well as meat which, in addition to vaccines and other hormones if it is not of good quality or organic, imposes a hard work on the digestive system.
