Organic Chia Seeds
They were originally grown by the Aztecs in Central America. They were already aware of the special qualities of this plant and used the seeds daily as a quality and versatile food. Chia also played a central role in the pre-Columbian Mayan civilization. Originally, chia seeds were used in Mexican cooking raw or heated, for example to enhance a dressing with the seeds or with chia gel (1 part chia seeds in 7 parts water/juice and let swell for 20 minutes - stir several times).
The color of the seeds may vary depending on the crop.
There is no difference between white and black seeds in terms of nutritional content and physiology.
The traditional Pinole
This drink was mixed with fruit or vegetable juice and 2 tablespoons of Chia seeds, left to swell for 10 minutes and stirred several times. This was a healthy and energetic snack that had a particularly positive effect on metabolism and digestion, as many traditions know.
Chia in bread
Try bread baked with chia seeds and oil - it's wonderfully crunchy and stays fresh for a long time.
In the United States, for example, the seeds are commonly used in muesli, spreads and fresh fruit yogurt.

Standard delivery is by Colissimo with tracking and drop-off without signature. If you prefer delivery by Colissimo Extra with required signature, an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us before choosing this method. Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via Colissimo with tracking and drop-off without signature.
