The sacral chakra: the energy center

Last month, we became familiar with the chakras by integrating the base chakra, more commonly known as the root chakra. We have defined it while decoding its roles withinour vibratory organism. Today, let's climb up our energy column and take a closer look at the sacral chakra, the energy center associated with the color orange.

The sacral chakra: who is it?

Chakra ofphysical communication (non-verbal communication), creativity, instinct, sense of pleasure, but also fertility, it is quite often associated with vitality and the energy center sexual. Indeed, theth Hara chakra often goes with the sexual energies that vibrate within us. Therefore, let us now turn our attention to its fascinating features and characteristics.

- Name : Svadhistana, Sanskrit word meaning Sweetness

- Color : Orange

- Associated number: 6 petals of the Lotus flower

- Priority element: Water

- Meaning: Taste

- Location on the physical body : 5 cm below the navel (place called Hara)

The unbalanced sacral chakra: any real consequences?

The 7 main chakras are easily unbalancedby our lifestyles which generally push us intoexcesses of all kinds (physical, emotional, vibrational). From then on, our energy bodies suffer the consequences of our physical maladjustments.

Several events will be of note, such as:

- A pronounced state of stress by reaction of the adrenal glands. The cortisol and adrenaline hormones will quite often overdose causing "poisoning" of the body. This is more commonly known as burn-out or depression. From a hormonal standpoint, the energy system is then out of balance at the sacral chakra.

- Given that this chakra is governed by the element "water", disorders in the urinary system (kidneys) will be expected. In addition, thischakra controls all the liquids in the body: lymph, blood, mucus, semen, urine, saliva, sweat, tears, etc. Disorders at this level can be restored in parallel by harmonizing this chakra.

- Back pain, mainly focused on the lumbar region.

- At the sexual level, the lack of energy may then be expressed by frigidity or impotence.

- Health problems related to the female genitalia such as fibroids, the difficult transition to menopause, premenstrual syndromes, etc.

- But also, bladder and prostate disorders, etc.

From an emotional perspective, the sacral chakra in imbalance could also impact our daily lives by exacerbating certain emotions, certain states of mind. We can then easily feel disaligned from who we really are by expressing certain unusual attitudes:

- Inability to receive love (link with libido)

- Difficulty in forming a relationship

- Jealousy

- Guilt

- Relational dependency concerns

- Too much importance given to the opinion of others

- Addictions such as drugs and alcohol

- Irritability

- Susceptibility

- Fanaticism

- Machismo

- Distrust

- The whims

- Carelessness

- The abusive need for body maintenance

- Lying can go as far as mythomania.

The sacral chakra: a holistic alignment

Energy work on the sacral chakra allows us to help the body feel good, in full physical and mental health. This is when allopathic medicine meets alternative healing to allow for complete and holistic wellness over the long term.

Many vibrational methods allow for healing and good energy flow: Laying on of hands, olfactotherapy, chromotherapy, lithotherapy, etc. The methods are as numerous as the therapists who practice them. It's up to you to find the right support for your needs.

Nevertheless, in all energy work and vibrational work, the key to success lies in personal development and self-growth. As part of the sacred chakra, become aware of personal work in certain areas, such as:

- Learn to accept yourself as you are, with love, but above all, by accepting your faults.

- Learn to control my emotions.

- Disconnecting and letting go of life's difficulties.

- Demonstrate courage and flexibility.

Let's move forward little by little on growing our energy balance, which goes hand in hand with ourphysical well-being and spiritual growth. The overall healing of the body does indeed involve a coherent whole.
