L'argile, un incontournable de la médecine vétérinaire

Known and used for its absorbing and adsorbing power (which holds on its surface), clay acts as a powerful drainer by eliminating toxins, bacteria, odors, etc...

Clay is an antiseptic and healing. Finally, it strengthens the body and its immune system. 

There are several types of clay: white, red, pink, green, yellow etc... In the dog, the white and green will be used either crushed or in fine powder. 

Usage interne de l'argile pour les chiens

Clay is recommended to relieve:

  • Digestive disorders: diarrhea, flatulence, parvovirosis EXCEPT in cases of constipation. 

  • Infectious disorders: prepare clay water the night before and give itto your dog in the morning.


Recipe clay water:

  1. Pour 1 tablespoon of Montmorillonite-type clay into a glass of water and mix well with a wooden spoon.

  2. Finally, leave to settle overnight. The next morning, do not mix. Use only surface water.

  3. Take 1 teaspoon of this preparation for 15kg, 3 times a day for 10 to 15 days. 


Caution with clay internal.

Clay absorbs absolutely everything, even treatments. Be sure to administer clay away from any medication. 


Usage externe de l'argile pour les chiens

Clay pcan be applied dry, sprinkled on skin conditions, licking areas, and on thickened and indurated skin of older dogs. 

As a poultice to sanitize a wound or soothe joint pain.

Cataplasm recipe.

  1. Use wooden or glass utensils for your preparation. Especially not metal. 

  2. Pour 1 to 3 tablespoons of clay and mix with water (preferably with little mineralization). 

  3. Allow clay to soak in and knead the mixture to the consistency of a malleable paste. 

  4. Spread the paste on a compress and apply it to the area to be treated. 

  5. Leave it on as long as the clayeis wet. Once dry, remove and rinse with clean water. 

  6. In case of wound or abscess, the poultice will have to be renewed every hour. 


La Terre de Diatomée, un anti-puce naturel

Diatomaceous Earth is commonly usede in veterinary medicine to remove lice from chickens. For dogs, this powder is a fearsome flea killer.

"Diatoms are fossilized remains of siliceous skeletons secreted by unicellular algae belonging to the phytoplankton family. (1)

Diatoms have razor sharp edges. This destroys the cuticle of fleas and kills them. Be careful not to sprinkle on your dog's mouth at the risk of causing respiratory tract irritation. 


Le Chlorure de Magnésium, un indispensable de votre trousse à pharmacie vétérinaire

The magnesium chloride is a magnesium salt. Given regularly orally to your dog, themagnesium chloride will boost his immunity all the more if he is brought to rub shoulders with other conspecifics (park, kennel, competition etc...).

Magnesium chloride is also known to be a laxative. This removes toxins and worm waste after a natural deworming treatment.

Nigari is natural magnesium chloride derived from sea salt.


Dose

  • 1g to be diluted in a tablespoon of water for a dog of 40-50kg.

For small dogs, the proportions will be as follows:

  • 15-25kg: 1 teaspoon of this dilution

  • 25-35kg: 2 teaspoons of this dilution

To be administered a few days per month.
