Reflections, shine and volume thanks to a composition of organic henna and other coloring plants as well as plant care products such as wheat proteins and organic jojoba oil. The golden wheat coloring care is particularly suitable for light to medium blond hair.

With Logona's herbal hair coloring products it is not possible to lighten the hair, but you can shade or accentuate your natural hair color, color your hair in a completely new shade or add bright highlights (highlights). The resulting colors are rich in warm highlights and will give your hair lively shades.

All this without chemically interfering with the natural structure of your hair, because Logona's vegetable dyes are long-lasting but particularly gentle. Unlike chemical dyes, they do not damage the natural structure of the hair and color by coating, by a non-opaque addition around each hair. This is why the initial color of your hair is a determining factor for the very personalized shade that will be obtained.

- You can enhance theintensity of the herbal coloring by repeated coloring at short intervals. Since herbal hair colors stabilize later on due to the effect of oxygen, you should leave 12 hours between colorings if possible. However, the intensity of the coloring is also determined by the length of the application time, which can vary from 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the color and the structure or condition of your hair (see "Instructions for use" and "Precautions for use")
- Logona's hair coloring products color, depending on the texture of the hair, permanently after several applications. They are not a dye that could fade. But the durability of the color is as individual as the interaction between the coloring agent and your hair.
- In principle all vegetable dyes, except ebony, are suitable for coloring gray hair. However, these will be lighter than others. The more gray hair there is, the lighter the coloring result will be.
For lighter gray hair the shades sahara, golden wheat and golden oak are recommended. For light brown hair mixed with gray the shades hazelnut-copper and chestnut are particularly suitable.
The shades golden oak and chestnut color the natural dark blond and chestnut shades with a particularly low proportion of red. If you have very gray hair, it is advisable to color it first with brown and then with golden oak or chestnut to achieve a particularly natural chestnut color.
- It is possible to make mixtures of Logona vegetable dyes. Already in the shades red, copper, brown, oak, chestnut all shades of color are possible. The shades copper hazelnut, brown, mahogany as well as golden oak and chestnut can be darkened with ebony. It is best to start with a proportion of about 90% to 10% and increase the proportion of ebony in subsequent colorations to 30%. The mixture should not contain more than 30% ebony as this covers the lighter shades. With mixtures of champagne and sahara, many golden to reddish shades can be obtained.
- Any dye stains on the skin will disappear on their own in a short time. They can also be removed with a mixture of lemon and vegetable oil.

Instructions for use1.

Prepare hair for coloring.
- The coloring treatment can be applied to wet or dry hair, but the color/water mixture is best shared on dry hair.
- For optimal preparation of your hair Logona Color plus preparer is recommended, especially if you have used styling products such as hair spray or fixative or silicone shampoo. This conditioner with green clay and birch leaf extracts intensively removes hair care residues, dandruff and excess grease from the hair and ensures that the vegetable coloring can be fixed to the hair much better.
2. Materials required.
- one bag (100g) of plant-based hair color (sufficient for hair up to shoulder height); one box contains:

- a dish or pot
- a whisk or a fork to mix the
mass
- about 300 ml boiling water (or possibly black tea)
- one or two towels (if possible disposable) to protect the clothes
- (possibly) cream to protect the skin at the hairline from dyes and absorbent cotton to cover the coated skin
3. Preliminary test on a strand of hair.
The natural coloring action of vegetable dyes is combined with your hair color and structure to give a coloring result that cannot be standardized. Thinner or very light hair takes on color much faster and more intensively than thicker or darker hair, for example. To make sure that the coloring matches your expectations, it is best to color a test strand first. In principle, it is advisable to choose this strand where the hair is lightest or the proportion of gray is highest.
For a test strand, mix about one teaspoon of coloring powder with about 30 ml of boiling water and apply as described below.
4. Preparation of the mixture.
Mix the vegetable coloring powder with boiling water until a creamy slurry is obtained. For one 100 g bag of powder you need about 300 ml of boiling water. The intensity of the coloring can be increased by using black tea instead of water.
5. Application.
Protect the clothes by placing the towel on the shoulders. If necessary, coat the skin at the hairline with a greasy cream and apply the wadding to avoid staining the skin. Then put on the enclosed gloves.
When the temperature of the dye mixture is not too high, apply it preferably still warm to the head, distributing it strand by strand through the hair. If necessary, remove any remaining color from the skin.
6. Coverage and application time.
Cover the hair with the enclosed cap and wrap a towel around the head (the heat - from a helmet drier or the sun - intensifies the coloring process).
The vegetable dyes can remain on the hair from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Unlike common chemical hair colors, the optimal application time depends on the individual nature of your hair. The test strand will tell you which application time is right for your hair and here are some guidelines. Since Logona's vegetable coloring products do not contain any chemical developers that accelerate the setting of the color, the maximum application time is often recommended, especially for thick and/or dark hair.
- For SAHARA coloring care, an exposure time of 15 to 30 minutes is recommended; after 15 minutes a reddish golden shade appears, which will lead to a final color that is more and more in the reds as the exposure time is prolonged.
- For other Logona coloring powders, an application time of 1 to 2 hours is recommended.
7. Final treatment
.
After the application time, rinse the hair thoroughly and wash it again. Instead of shampooing, we recommend using the LOGONA fixing mask (Color Conditioner, 1/3 tube for medium-length hair) for the final wash. This mask fixes and intensifies the color and luminosity of your hair. Applied for 5 to 10 minutes directly after coloring, thanks to burdock seed oil, betaine and wheat proteins, it seals the vegetable coloring like an invisible film and ensures long-lasting vibrant colors. The fixing mask can also be used at other times as an intensive care treatment.
Rinse well after the mask/shampoo and then the hair can be dried and curled as usual.

Precautions for use-

Before the first application, it would be better to do a test on a strand of hair. For hair that has already been chemically colored, it is imperative to do so, as the coloring may differ greatly from what is expected.
- In case of skin lesions in the areas where hair dyes can be applied, they cannot be used.
- Vegetable dyes are not suitable for body paint.
- Do not use Logona hair coloring products to color eyelashes or eyebrows.
- Do not cure or rinse before coloring as your hair will not pick up the color as well.
- While alkaline perms and botanicals work well together, combinations of botanical hair dyes and acid perms can cause the hair to not accept the color or perm. It is generally recommended to dye the hair after the perm, as this way the vegetable hair color develops its full color effect and at the same time heals the damaged hair structure.
- Logona's vegetable coloring products do not lighten the hair. The champagne shade turns bright red when mixed with water. This is due to the hibiscus leaves in the powder and has no influence on the final color result. Use Ebony Color Care only on brown to black hair, otherwise there may be unwanted greenish or bluish colorations. The application time for the Sahara shade should not exceed 30 minutes to avoid an unwanted reddish tint.
- Be careful not to breathe in any powdery dust that may be released when mixing the powder as it may cause allergy symptoms in sensitive individuals.
- Depending on the texture of the hair and after several applications, Logona's plant-based coloring care products provide permanent color. They are not colorations that could disappear by washing. But the durability of the color is as individual as the interaction between the coloring care and your hair
