chlorella is organically grown on an island in the South China Sea. Production begins in the laboratory, in cultivation tanks containing natural filtered water, and then in outdoor tanks. Once the required density has been reached, the chlorella is harvested and dried using an evaporative pulverization process to obtain a powder that does not alter the nutritional value of the chlorella. Next, the hard cell wall is broken.
While this is an aid to detoxification (toxins bind to the cell wall when we digest chlorella) it also creates a barrier that reduces the amount of nutrients available internally to the cell. Breaking down the cell wall does not damage this cellular nutrient content, but makes it bioavailable. This powder is then pressed into tablets.
