Sodium bicarbonate, also known as sodium bicarbonate or natron, from GPH is food-grade and synthetically manufactured. It's a versatile helper in the home and kitchen. Sodium
bicarbonate is biodegradable and is non-toxic to the environment and human health. Natural natron is a salt-like rock, rare in non-desert regions because it is too soluble to remain on the surface.

Tips for using sodium bicarbonate
- Acidic fruit: approx. 2 g per 500 g of acidic fruit, e.g. redcurrants, captures excess acidity.
- Tea and coffee water: approx. 1 g per 1 l softens tea or coffee water.
- Pulses: approx. 5 g per 1 l of boiling water makes pulses tender more quickly, but some dieticians advise against using baking soda or other chemical yeast in cooking water for pulses, as baking soda destroys thiamine (vitamin B1) during cooking, and the addition of this type of ingredient may also change the texture of the pulses, making them soft.

- Do not use on aluminum.
- Store in a dry place.

Payment by card is immediate and your order is dispatched within 24 hours (if all products are in stock). Bank transfer usually takes 2 to 3 days for bank-to-bank transfer.
