This Corn-rice couscous is composed of grains formed of corn meal and rice meal. It has a bright and original colour, a delicious flavour, is prepared quickly and easily and is perfect to impress your guests and diversify your diet.
Couscous consists more generally of granules made by rolling and shaping moistened semolina of hard wheat, barley or millet. In North Africa, couscous is a very popular food and is also the name of a meal. These couscous, that of corn-rice included, can be served with vegetables, tomato sauce, can replace rice in a hot meal and acompany as well meat as fisch or poultry. Cooled, couscous allows preparing succulent salads.

Recommendations for use
Basic preparation: count approximately 60 g of couscous per person. Put the couscous in a bowl and pour over the same volume of boiling water. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Detach the grains with a fork.
Couscous corn-rice can be used to realise traditional couscous receipts, also as accompaniment in a pricipal dish or to prepare tabbouleh.
Precautions for use
- Store away from light in a cool and dry place, in a closed packing.
- Possible traces of almonds, gluten, hazelnuts, cashew nuts, sesame and soya.
