These back pains can hinder daily life and sometimes make it really complicated. In order to soothe your discomfort, we have a few natural keys to offer you:

The hot water bottle: some neck, back or even lumbar pain can be relieved by heat. By placing a hot water bottle for several minutes on the painful area, we increase blood circulation while promoting muscle and nerve relaxation. Tensions are released and relaxation takes over. Although this remedy may seem a bit old-fashioned, it has been recognized as effective for generations. Let's not deprive ourselves.

Depending on our preferences, there are several types of hot water bottles: those that are filled with hot water or those that are made of natural materials such as cherry pits, lavender flowers, etc... It's up to you to choose the one that best meets your expectations and preferences.

Aromatherapy. Essential oils that relieve back pain are common and depending on the condition, several oils can be adopted. While remaining vigilant as to the contraindications of each of the oils mentioned, relieving back pain is quite possible with the benefits of the oils.

In my miracle bottle, I put :

  • 10 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil - Chamaemelum nobileor Anthemis nobilis - for its relaxing, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and slightly anxiolytic properties. A great support if the pain is due to the accumulation of nervous tensions.
  • 10 drops of essential oil of basil - ocimum basilicum - because this essential oil softens the musculature and then allows a relaxation which is needed to relieve this type of pain and this particular area.
  • 10 drops of essential oil of petit grain bigarade - Citrus aurantium var. amara - for its action on the emotional and nervous sphere. It will soften and soothe. Moreover, it will activate the anti-inflammatory action of the Roman chamomile. A perfect synergy then.
  • 10 drops of St. John's wort vegetable oil for its analgesic action, in this case. Be careful, this vegetable oil should not be used before exposure to the sun.

Another essential oil acts effectively: it is the wintergreen - Gaultheria fragrantisima - very known for its antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory but also analgesic properties. Its peculiar smell could remind of gyms where sprays for sports injuries are used almost like deodorant but whether you like it or not, the important thing is its very effective action. Dilute it in a vegetable oil of arnica for example to potentiate its effect and avoid any irritation of the skin, possible with a pure use.

Before starting a box of painkillers or anti-inflammatories, natural solutions exist. Just as effective, they allow the body to adapt while avoiding various side effects that are harmful to health. In addition, these healthier alternatives provide a long-term response from the body.
