Présentation du Ku Nye, massage ancestral venant du Tibet

The origins of Ku Nye date back over 3900 years to the time of the ancient kingdom of Tibet. The ancients practiced this massage technique with oils infused with medicinal herbs. They also used whatever they found in their environment to complete their art: tree branches, butter , stones, sticks ... Thebenefits of Ku Nye are mentioned in ancient texts from the Bum Shi and Gyud Shi.

Le Ku Nye pour qui ?

The Ku Nye massage relieves people who are plagued by stress and chronic fatigue. It relieves tension and helps to fluidify the energy, lymphatic and energetic circulation. Thus, it can boost vitality as well as soothe anxious minds.

People who wish to boost their immune system can seek the help of a Ku Nye practitioner. Indeed, this massage practice mobilizes all the organ systems including the immune system. In this regard, it should not be forgotten that Ku Nye is derived from traditional Tibetan medicine in the same way as herbal medicine or diet. Thus, we can truly consider Ku Nye as a complementary discipline to conventional practices to recover form and health.

Le Ku Nye, une pratique qui demande une solide formation

The Ku Nye massage is beyond a manual practice that only brings well-being. It acts in depth and according to the problems encountered. Each practitioner is skillfully trained to recognize excess and energy deficits and to rebalance dysfunctional areas according to the 5 elements (water / earth / fire / air / ether) and the client's dominant mood.

Therefore, there is no pre-established protocol. The massage is personalized and adapted to the needs of the recipient. This requires a great deal of adaptability and solid subtle listening on the part of the practitioner.

The Ku Nye is thus carried by a holistic healing philosophy whose teachings have been passed down for over 2000 years.

Les 3 phases du Ku Nye

The Ku Nye massage lasts between 1 and 2 hours. Here are the different phases :

  • KU: application by stroking the herbal oil to warm and begin to mobilize the joints. This prepares the body to receive the treatment. This makes the skin more receptive and the superficial muscles relaxed.

  • NYE : deep and tonic massage of the different muscle chains following points and energy channels. This step is practiced with bare hands or with specific instruments such as hot stones, a stick, moxas, suction cups... It is during this phase that the treatment of painful areas and unbalanced energies takes place. The massage techniques used are sliding pressure, tapping, kneading and digipuncture.

  • CHI : to finish, the practitioner applies barley or chickpea powder to the recipient's body to absorb the remaining oil, perform a gentle peeling, stimulate the elimination of toxins and rebalance the humors. This is how the Tibetan Ku Nye Massage ends.
