Ubiquinol, a major anti-aging asset

It appears that a key component of the aging process is the increased production of free radicals. These oxygen atoms, which are missing electrons and thus become highly reactive, can damage all of the body's cells and even the DNA at the heart of some cells.

To stop or slow down the aging process consists in limiting or decreasing the production and the quantity of free radicals within the organism.
On the market, there are many antioxidant nutritional supplements based on plants, minerals or vitamins.
Among these, one of the best known is the coenzyme Q10. So far, nothing new under the sun, since for a few decades already, coenzyme Q10 is a nutritional supplement known and recognized for its antioxidant effects.

On the other hand, what is new is that currently there is a new form of coenzyme Q10 presented as ubiquinol, whose effects are amazing. Typically, coenzyme Q10 comes in the form of ubiquinone. Ubiquinol is significantly more potent. This reduced coenzyme Q10 is much more assimilable by all the cells of the body.

After the age of 25, the body has more difficulty converting coenzyme Q10 from its oxidized form (ubiquinone) to its reduced form (ubiquinol). This process, which is essential to make coenzyme Q10 efficient, requires energy from the cells. This energy is not always available and must sometimes be devoted to other more vital physiological processes.

Even if you eat a healthy, organic and varied diet, by supplementing your body with reduced coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinol, you not only boost the energy of your cells and your body, but you also save them the extra energy required to convert from the oxidized to the reduced form.

Keep in mind that with age, not only does the amount of coenzyme Q10 produced by the body decrease, but your body may not have the same energy to perform the conversion of external inputs of coenzyme Q10 found in foods.

Studies have shown that the absorption of reduced coenzyme Q10 increases the blood level of coenzyme Q10, 90% of which is in the reduced form (ubiquinol). This contribution also favors the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), an essential energy fuel for proper organic functioning.

By supplementing with this form of coenzyme Q10, you will cover your body's needs, provide more energy to your cells and have a powerful and effective defense against free radicals. While preserving your health, you will slow down the aging of your body and the signs that accompany it.
