Dr. Schmitz's secret for fighting motion sickness

Question:

I would like to ask Dr. Schmitz about a natural medicine solution for a 6-year-old who gets sick on a car trip.

Dr. Schmitz's Response

Your child is suffering from what is called travel sickness.
In the car, vehicle motion, especially repeated acceleration and deceleration, puts undue strain on the vestibular apparatus of the inner ear involved in balance control. As a result, sensitive individuals experience cold sweats, nausea and even vomiting.

In homeopathy, I advise taking COCCULUS 5 CH and TABACUM 5CH: 3 granules of each remedy alternating every half hour during the whole trip.

For adults and children over 5 years old, aromatherapy can be combined. Make the following mixture: 2 drops of peppermint, basil, lemon balm and lemon essence to be massaged on the solar plexus as soon as nausea appears. Breathing this mixture frequently is also effective.
