Fluoride poisoning: how to get rid of it?

The neurodegenerative effects of fluorides are well documented in the scientific literature, yet this toxic byproduct of industrial production continues to flow into the water supplies of almost every major city. And it may take some time before a critical mass of people finally wake up and put an end to this mass poisoning of the population; there is a way for you and your family to avoid the toxic effects of fluoride with a good diet and a magic food.

Publishing their findings in a recent issue of Pharmacognosy Magazine, an Indian research team noted that regular consumption of turmeric, a spice commonly used in Indian and Asian cuisine, helps protect the mammalian brain from fluoride poisoning. Having already discovered the pathways by which fluoride induces harmful neurodegenerative changes in the brain, the Mohanlal Sukhadi University team found that turmeric neutralizes existing fluorides and protects against additional ingested fluoride.

In testing the effects of turmeric on mice, researchers observed that curcumin, a nutrient compound best known in turmeric, is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that protects against cellular damage, including oxygen and other radicals. Curcumin also helps to stimulate the production of glutathione, the body's "master antioxidant", which studies have shown to play a key role in protecting against oxidative stress.

Taking turmeric supplements can completely reverse the damage caused by fluoride

Knowing that fluoride induces two neurotoxic and neurodegenerative effects on brain tissue, particularly that of the hippocampus and cerebral cortex, the team tested the effects of fluoride alone, fluoride in combination with turmeric, curcuma alone, and a control on mice that were randomly divided into each of these four groups. All mice consumed their respective doses for 30 days before analysis.

At the end of the study period, it was observed that mice in the fluoride group, which received 120 parts per million (ppm) of fluoride in water without the curcumin, experienced significant increases in malondialdehyde (MDA). MDA activity is recognized as a marker of oxidative stress. Mice consuming the same amount of fluoride with 30 milligrams per kilogram of body weight (mg/kg) of curcuma, experienced a marked reduction in MDA, revealing the toxicity-reducing power of curcuma.

The Fluoride can cross the blood-brain barrier, which accumulates in mice in the cell bodies of hippocampal neurons and initiates the cascade of reactions that increases oxidative stress that causes an increase in the MDA content of brain tissue, which is an end product of LPO [lipid peroxidation].

On the other hand, a decrease in the level of MDA was observed after treatment with curcumin, compared to a group treated with fluoride because this phytochemical is able to neutralize oxygen free radicals such as superoxide anions and hydroxyl radicals, which are important for the initiation of LPO.

The fluor is an 'excitotoxin' like MSG that causes the death of brain neurons.

Regarding the general toxicity of fluoride, the team is convinced, based on more than a decade of extensive research, that the chemical accumulates in brain tissue. Similar to the way monosodium glutamate (MSG) overexcites brain neurons and kills them, fluoride also produces an excitotoxic effect that can have lasting health consequences.

The fluoride ( F ) is probably the first inorganic ion that attracted the attention of the scientific world for its toxic effects and now the toxicity of Fluorine brought drinking water is well recognized as a global problem," the study explains. "
There are also adverse health effects from Fluorine exposure such as cancers, reproductive, cardiovascular, and neurological diseases.
